Approval by University Grants Commission (UGC)
MPU University Bhopal is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC), a statutory body of the Government of India under 2(f) of UGC Act.  MPU University is included in the list of universities maintained by University Grants Commission under section – 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956.
University Grants Commission has empowered us to award the degrees under  UGC Act 1956.

Established and Approved by the State Government
MPU University Bhopal has been notified in the Gazette (Extra-ordinary) of the state Govt.

Approval by AICTE
As per law, Universities do not require AICTE approval. Only institutions which are affiliated to Universities require approval. As MPU University is a University established by a State Act,it does not require AICTE approval.
