Mining Engineering at Madhyanchal Professional University offers a comprehensive understanding of safe and efficient mineral extraction, leveraging modern technologies like opencast mining, now predominant in India. Originating from the Harappan civilization, mining now utilizes digital advancements for safer operations at greater depths.
Safety is paramount, with professionals holding statutory positions ensuring adherence to protocols. The curriculum covers diverse aspects including mine ventilation, planning, machinery selection, rock mechanics, surveying, ore processing, and sustainable mining methods.
Passed 10+2 examination with physics/maths/chemistry and obtained at least 45% marks in required three main subjects (40% marks in case of candidate belong to SC/ST/OBC[Excluding creamy layer] category of Madhya Pradesh) in the above, subjects taken together.
Admissions in the course will be done on a Merit-basis, based on the marks achieved in the last qualifying exam and as per the eligibility criteria. Scholarships are also available for meritorious students and for those in need of financial aid.
