Fees are one of the first things families want clarity on, and we want to make that as straightforward as possible. So here they are, upfront and in full.

This page covers every course in the MPU courses and fees structure for 2025-26, undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral, along with what each one actually costs. 

These are the fees approved by the M.P. Private University Regulatory Commission (MPPURC) in December 2025, which means they're verified, regulated, and binding.

How MPU Fees Are Structured

Every fee in the MPU fee structure is split into two parts by the MPPURC regulation:

• Tuition Fee (85%): covers teaching, labs, library, sports, and all campus activities
• Development Fee (15%): goes toward campus infrastructure, held in a separate regulated account

The total approved fee covers everything academic. No add-ons showing up mid-semester. No "miscellaneous charges" in Semester 2.

UG Courses in Bhopal at MPU

MPU offers 63-plus courses at the UG level alone, across engineering, science, commerce, management, law, pharmacy, nursing, agriculture, arts, and design.

Deciding between CSE and ECE?

CSE is software, systems, and code. ECE sits at the hardware-software intersection, embedded systems, VLSI, communication networks, and IoT. They open different doors. Know which doors you want.

MPU's placement cell works with students from Semester 3, resume building, mock interviews, and industry connections starting in your second year, not a job fair scramble at the end. 547 companies have recruited from the campus. Students have gone on to work at Accenture, TCS, Infosys, HCL, Wipro, and Cognizant, among others.

PG Programs in MP at MPU

Postgraduate is a different kind of decision. Some people arrive here knowing exactly where they're going and need the right specialisation to get there faster. Others are here because their undergraduate studies left them with more questions than answers, and that's a completely valid reason to do a master's too. Diploma Courses & Fees

Diploma programmes are underestimated. They're shorter and more focused, and in the right field, they get you into work faster than a full degree. If you know exactly what skill you're building, a diploma is a direct route.

Choosing a Ph.D is as much about the supervisor and the lab as it is about the subject. Before you commit, ask the department about active research publications, available funding, and average time to completion. These questions may sound difficult, but they are the right one that helps you choose the right path.

Scholarships Worth Knowing About

Fees shouldn't be the reason a good student says no. 

Which is why MPU offers:

National Talent Hunt Scholarship: Scored above 90% in PCM, or above 80% in Commerce or Arts in Class 12? Appear for MPU's scholarship exam. The award is based on your test score and can cover a significant portion of your tuition.

JEE Main Merit Scholarship: Have a JEE rank? You may qualify for a merit-based reduction on your B.Tech fee. Higher rank, better scholarship.

Sports Scholarship: Represented your state or country in an Indian Olympic Council-recognised sport? Apply for this.

Government Schemes: MP domicile students are eligible for state government scholarships. From another state? Your home state likely has its own schemes that apply regardless of where you study. Most families don't check. It's worth checking.

Before You Commit

First: confirm with the admissions office that your specific programme has been notified in the M.P. Gazette and that MPPURC approval under Section 9 has been granted. This determines whether your degree is recognised. It's a five-minute conversation that matters.

Second: every fee on this page is per year. Budget hostel, food, and transport separately. If anyone quotes you a monthly figure, do the multiplication.
