Who Are We?

Madhyanchal Professional University is a UGC-recognised private university in Ratibad, Bhopal. We've been open since 2018. We're approved by AICTE, PCI, INC, and NCTE, where applicable. We offer more than 63 courses across engineering, management, pharmacy, agriculture, nursing, education, sciences, commerce, and humanities, all on a 150-acre campus.

Do You Qualify? MPU Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech (Engineering): Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Minimum 45% for the general category; 40% for SC/ST/OBC. Valid JEE Main or MPUCET score required. Direct merit-based admission is also accepted.

B.Tech Lateral Entry: Completed a relevant 3-year Diploma? You can enter directly into the second year.

B.Pharm: Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics. Minimum 45% for the general category; 40% for SC/ST/OBC.

D.Pharm: Class 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics.

M.Pharm: Graduation in Pharmacy from a recognised college. Minimum 55%.

MBA: Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university. No specific stream required.

B.Sc Nursing: Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Minimum 45%.

B.Ed: Graduation with a minimum of 50%.

What Does It Cost?

Fees depend on the course, its duration, and the specialisation. There isn't one number that covers everything, and we'd rather take the time to give you the right answer than a quick one that doesn't tell the full story.

Here's how to approach it properly. Check the programme-specific fee on our official website. Ask for a semester-wise breakdown; it makes planning a lot easier. If your child is staying on campus, ask about hostel and transport charges separately; they're not always included in the headline number. Ask about instalment options and the refund policy before you commit.

And ask about scholarships. Most families don't, and some of them leave money on the table because of it.

Scholarships at MPU

Fees shouldn't be the reason a good student says no. Here's what's available.

National Talent Hunt Scholarship: Scored above 90% in PCM, or above 80% in Commerce or Arts in Class 12? Appear for MPU's National Talent Hunt Examination. Your scholarship is based on your test score and can cover a significant portion of your tuition.

JEE Main Merit Scholarship: Have a JEE Main rank? You may qualify for a merit-based scholarship for your B.Tech programme. Higher rank, better scholarship.

Sports Scholarship: Represented your state or country in a sport recognised by the Indian Olympic Council? Apply for this.

Government Scholarships: MP domicile students are eligible for state government schemes. From another state? Check what your home state offers; most states have their own schemes that apply regardless of where you study.

How to Apply

Here's what you should know about applying online:

Step 1: Apply Online MPU- Go to mpu.ac.in/registration.php. Fill in your details, choose your course, and submit the form.

Step 2: Verification- You'll get a verification link on your registered email. Click it to confirm. Applying offline? You'll receive an intimation letter instead.

Step 3: Counselling Intimation- The admission team will reach out with your counselling date and time. A counselling fee applies and varies by course. Have your documents ready before this, and don't leave it to the last minute.

Step 4: Scholarship Test (If Applicable)- Want to be considered for the National Talent Hunt Scholarship? Apply separately and appear for the test. Indicate this when filling out your form.

Step 5: Fee Payment- After counselling and seat confirmation, pay through the ERP payment gateway. Payment confirmed means seat confirmed.

Prefer to fill out the MPU admission form in person? Come to campus, visit the admission cell, collect the form, fill it out, and submit it with your documents and fee. The team will take it from there.

Documents You'll Need

Getting your documents together before you start is one of the simplest things you can do to make this process smoother. It means no last-minute scrambles, no delays, and nothing holding you back when you're ready to move forward.

• Class 10 marksheet and certificate
• Class 12 marksheet and certificate
• JEE Main scorecard (if applying for B.Tech)
• Transfer Certificate from your last institution
• Migration Certificate (if applicable)
• Character Certificate
• Caste Certificate (if applicable, for SC/ST/OBC)
• Passport-size photographs (at least 6)
• Aadhaar Card or any government-issued ID

Bring originals and self-attested photocopies to your counselling session.

What Happens After You Get In

Getting in is just the beginning, and honestly, it's where the real journey starts.

Your placement journey at MPU begins in Semester 3. Not the final year when the pressure is already at its peak. Semester 3 is when you still have time to build real skills, gain confidence, and understand what you're working towards. Mock interviews, industry exposure, skill development; it all starts early because that's when it makes the most difference.

The numbers speak for themselves. 547 companies. 7,737 students have been placed since inception. An average package of INR 3.8 LPA in 2024. Students from MPU have gone on to work at Accenture, TCS, Infosys, HCL, Wipro, Cognizant, Mindtree, and Jaro Education, among others.
