IT or Information Technology is a relatively new area which came to prominence in the second half of the last century. Despite being the new it has become one of the most popular and much sought after. It deals with computers both hardware, software, telecommunications and virtually anything that involves in the transmission of information or the systems that facilitates so. The discipline also includes the management of data in various forms like text, voice, image, audio and video. Internet is the backbone for this education which and it seems to proliferate and engulf every sphere of human into it.
Admission Rules & Procedure
Admissions to all courses are strictly based on merit basis based on the score of the last eligibility exam cleared.
The admission procedure is subject to the decision of the Academic Council for each semester regarding the cut-off percentage for admission and the last date.
Duration & Eligibility
DCA - 1 Year
Passed 10+2 examinations.
PGDCA -1 Year
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in any discipline.
BCA - 3 Years
Passed 10+2 examinations.
B.Sc (IT/CS) - 3 Years
Passed 10+2 examinations with Physics, Chemistry & Maths as compulsory subjects.
M.Sc (IT/CS) -2 Years
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in relevent discipline.
